We aim to make school photography as stress-free as possible. For high schools, we understand what parents value most and tailor our shoots to reflect that, creating images they’ll truly love.
In infant schools, we find that a blend of fun and natural posing works best, allowing us to capture a wide variety of beautiful images. For nurseries, our approach is relaxed and playful — we bring along props, encourage creativity, and let children be themselves.
Our photographers are highly experienced professionals — and many are mums too — so they know exactly how to put children at ease and capture that perfect moment.
Meet Our Founder
Sue is the founder of Footprints Photography and has been working with schools for over 30 years.
A mum of three and proud grandmother to eight, Sue has spent her career capturing natural, happy photographs that families genuinely love.
She works with schools all over the country and is known for building long-standing relationships based on trust, reliability, and an easy-going approach. Sue has a natural way with children and staff alike, putting everyone at ease and making photo day run smoothly from start to finish.
Schools value Sue not just for her experience, but for her consistency, care, and eye for those “just right” moments — the kind of photographs parents are excited to buy and schools are proud to share.
As parents with children in the school system, we understand the joy that photo day can bring. We also recognise that, at times, guilt can play a role in a purchasing decision, which is why we want to reassure families that there is absolutely no obligation to purchase from us. We keep images on our system for a few years, so maybe a different time might be the righttime.
